How to Prepare for Your Cleaning Appointment

To help us make the best use of your booked time, here are a few simple ways you can prepare your home before we arrive. None of these steps are required, but they do help us focus more of your time on deep, detailed cleaning rather than basic tidying.

1. Tidy Where Possible

A quick tidy can make a big difference in how efficiently we can work. This may include:

  • Picking items up off the floor so all areas can be vacuumed thoroughly

  • Clearing surfaces like counters, dressers, and side tables if you’d like the entire area cleaned

  • Putting away clothing, dishes, toys, or personal items you prefer not to be moved

2. Make Supplies Easy to Access

Please let us know where to find:

  • Your vacuum

  • Extra garbage bags

  • Toilet bowl cleaner (if you prefer we use your own)
We bring all our own cleaning products, but these household items help keep the process running smoothly.

3. Linens & Towels

If you want bedding changed or clean towels put out, you can:

  • Leave fresh linens on the bed or counter, or

  • Let us know where linens are stored so we can add this to your home notes for future visits

This helps us maintain consistency and saves you from having to remember each time.

4. Secure Pets if Needed

We adore animals, but if your pets get anxious, excited, or are prone to slipping out the door, securing them helps us work safely and efficiently.

5. Share Any Special Instructions

If there’s a particular way you like something done—or areas you want extra attention on—just let us know. Clear communication ensures we can tailor the clean to your needs.

6. Create a Priority List (If You Have a Set Time or Budget)

If your appointment is limited to our 3-hour minimum or a specific time frame, a priority list ensures we start with what matters most to you. It is best that this list is emailed or texted to Jenn prior to your clean so it can be added to the notes for your home.

Make it stand out.

It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want to launch a business. Maybe you want to turn a hobby into something more. Or maybe you have a creative project to share with the world. Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.
