Additional Services & Limitations
At Jenn & Co Housekeeping, our focus is on maintaining clean, healthy homes through our standard and deep cleaning services. To ensure the safety of our team and the quality of our work, there are certain services we do not provide, as well as some that require advance planning.
We are committed to using products that are safe for your home, your family, your pets, and our team. Our cleaning products are human, pet, and environmentally friendly whenever possible.
What We Do Not Offer
To keep our team safe and our services consistent, we do not provide the following:
Carpet cleaning or carpet shampooing
Upholstery cleaning
Cleaning of pet messes (including urine, feces, or vomit)
Biohazard cleaning of any kind
Removal of moldy or heavily spoiled food
Hoarding or extreme deep-clean situations requiring specialized services
Exterior cleaning (including windows, siding, garages, etc.)
Moving heavy furniture or appliances
Cleaning areas that pose a safety risk (e.g., high or hard-to-reach spaces without proper equipment)
Use of harsh or hazardous chemicals (including bleach or other strong chemical agents)
We are not equipped with specialized protective gear (such as respirators) required for the safe use of harsh chemicals. For this reason, we prioritize safer, eco-friendly products in all of our cleans.
If any of the above are present at the time of your clean, those areas may be skipped for the safety of our team.
Services Available By Request
Some services are absolutely available — they just require a little extra planning so we can ensure enough time is scheduled and nothing is missed during your clean.
Fridge Cleaning
If you would like the inside of your refrigerator cleaned, this must be requested in advance so we can plan accordingly.
Oven Cleaning
Oven cleaning is available by request and requires approximately 30 minutes of additional time.
If your oven has a self-cleaning function, please run it at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled clean
If not, we will use a standard oven cleaner unless otherwise instructed
If additional time is not scheduled, another area of the home may be skipped to accommodate this service
Behind & Under Appliances
If you would like us to clean behind or underneath appliances (such as your fridge or oven), this must be requested in advance.
For safety reasons, our team does not move appliances
Clients are responsible for pulling appliances out prior to our arrival so we can access these areas
Laundry Services
We are happy to offer light laundry services as part of your clean.
This can include:
Changing bed linens
Washing and drying bedding and towels
Folding and putting away items
Bedding and towels can typically be completed within your scheduled cleaning time.
If you are looking for additional laundry support (such as sorting, washing, folding, and putting away clothing), extra time may need to be added to your clean to ensure everything is completed properly.
Organizing & Decluttering Support
We are happy to support with light organizing and decluttering as part of your clean.
This is offered on a case-by-case basis depending on the space and level of support needed
We specialize in working with neurodivergent homes and understand that sometimes spaces can feel overwhelming — we’re here to help without judgment
Additional time may be required depending on the scope of the project
Please note: we do not take on extreme hoarding situations or projects that require specialized services.
Wall Washing
Spot cleaning of walls is included as part of our standard cleaning where needed.
Full wall washing is available as an additional service and must be requested in advance.
A consultation may be required depending on the scope of the project
Clients are responsible for moving furniture, or we will clean only the areas that are safely accessible
Additional time will be required and scheduled accordingly
Recycling & Item Removal (Limited Service)
We can assist with removing larger items for recycling (such as cardboard, packaging, or small household items) on a case-by-case basis.
This service is completed by Jenn only and is subject to her availability
Must be scheduled in advance
A service fee will apply based on the scope of the request

At Jenn & Co Housekeeping, we take pride in providing consistent, detail-focused, compassionate cleaning. Our team works with care and intention — but we’re also human, and once in a while something may get missed.
If anything doesn’t feel quite right after your clean, please contact Jenn within 24–48 hours so we can address it promptly. This allows us to follow up while the details are still fresh and ensures we can support you and our team effectively.
We value kind, open communication and want you to feel comfortable reaching out with any concerns.
Before You Reach Out, Here Are a Few Helpful Notes
Every Home Is Different
Some areas (like stubborn buildup, soap scum, hard water, or long-term staining) may require additional time or a deeper clean than what’s included in a standard visit. We’re always happy to discuss options if something needs extra attention.
Time-Capped Cleans & Priority Lists
If your visit was based on our 3-hour minimum or a set budget, we’ll complete your priority list first. Only listed items are guaranteed within the allotted time.
Normal Wear & Tear
Age-related wear — such as discoloured grout, worn caulking, scratched appliances, or permanently stained surfaces — may not come fully clean even with professional products. We always work safely and do our best within the limits of the material.
